        There are many tourist spots and supermarkets surrounding Aochalong resort. You may choose to travel by means of the hotel van service or you may grab a taxi. Of course, if you are up for some exercise you may choose to walk to a nearby convenience store just outside the Aochalong premises where food and other everyday items are being sold. Some tourist destinations that might be of interest are:
 

Wat Chalong is a famous Buddhist temple in Phuket (constructed over a century ago) where visitors come by to be blessed by monks.



Chalong Statue of Big Buddha is a must- see for people who come to Phuket. It is one of the island's prominent landmarks. This statue is on top of Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata. At night, the statue is illuminated in golden light which can be seen from afar.
 

Rawai Beachis located at the southern end of Phuket Island. It is a spectacular beach where people can jog, swim, snorkel, cycle and take beautiful photographs.


Laem Promthep Cape sits at the southernmost tip of Phuket Island. The cape provides a breathtaking view of the Andaman Sea and is a perfect site to see the sun sets over the horizon.
